Hi Carol, Doing Yin yoga directly after your power walk sounds like it’s already a great routine as-is — it provides a cooldown stretch with the added benefit of yin’s relaxation and meditative quality.

Way to combine your knowledge of yin with intuition and intelligent prop usage! This is when it starts getting really good 😉

Welcome back, Minke!

Hi Blanca! It’s great to hear you’re recalibrating here.

Hi Anita, I’m so sorry you experienced an injury. If seated poses are painful due to your injury, you can avoid them with a routine of non-seated poses, or just swap these into their respective archetype in any routine: child’s pose, shoelace on the wall, dragonfly on the wall, dragon with blocks under your hands, runner’s stretch, and lying twist. I can’t truly customize a practice for you without being able to meet with you. However, your question is a good one to illustrate how to apply the functional approach to yin! In each of the 7 archetypes, you can usually find a variation that works.

So glad you’re here, Toni, and looking forward to our YYTT journey 🤓
