Esi Ann Lots of us are in peri here! This is a great quesiton. Stress relief is so important for us, since it helps maintain our hormonal balance. Everything here in the app & membership will serve that purpose! however the ones entitled "Somatic" may be more targeted.

Tiffin Howard Upside down dragon is a great alternative. Lying on your back, slide a yoga block or bolster under your hips, then draw one knee in toward your chest. The target area is the extended leg - front of hip.

Bethan Owena That's great you're putting your new bolster to use right away!

I did just reply and I look forward to connecting with you!

I put the statement in quotes for a reason: it's actually not something I tend to say, because the whole body and all its parts can play a role in emotional processing – not just the hips. However I've noticed many other yin yoga teachers saying this about the hips, so I'm curious whether it's true for most people and how it manifests.
