I received some valuable feedback on today's calendar video – a faster-paced, more dynamic class. It's a bit of an outlier on this site because of how challenging it is, and it was an unpleasant surprise for at least one person.

As you may know, the classes on the yoga calendar are generally quite accessible and easy to follow. However, for variety I try to include at least one dynamic/challenging practice each week. If you ever want to check, scan the video page for the class level, where you'll see "Beginners & All Levels" or "Intermediate/Experienced."

I recorded this particular video five years ago as an "Intermediate" practice during my first year in building this membership site. At the time, the site included a broader mix of styles. Since then, it's become more yin-focused, and I've tried to keep those older, more athletic classes off the daily calendar.

Today's video still made its way into the calendar – possibly because I'd given it a misleading title: "Yin Yang Yoga Flow." To fix that, I've just changed the name to Yang Yoga Flow, I've changed the thumbnail, and I've recategorized it in the Yang Yoga category. Even though there are some yin poses at the end, this class shouldn't have had the word "Yin" in the title.

With over 300 classes in the catalog now, I sometimes lose track! Which is why this kind of feedback from members is really helpful. If you ever think any other class has a misleading title, level, or thumbnail, don't hesitate to let me know.

Thank you Marc Elmlund for giving your helpful and honest feedback. 🙏

By popular request, I've made a 20 minute version of the DAILY FASCIA STRETCH video, with the same routine as last month's 15-Min Daily Fascia Stretch, but with 1-minute holds for each pose instead of 43 seconds. Both are evidence-based routines for full-body flexibility: Do the 15-min version every day, or do the 20-min version five days a week. Enjoy, and let me know which you prefer!

I just finished the Foundations series (Loved it!) and would like to know when you're showing the split screen and we're doing both sides for 2 minutes, when I get to the other side to I have to use that pose or can I do a different one? Thank you

It's a wrap! The complete Yin Yoga Foundations program is now available in the membership.

I know some of you are still making your way through it, which is totally fine since it's a self-paced program. Wherever you are in the journey, I appreciate your participation in this member-exclusive launch. It's been really exciting for me to present this system of archetypes to you, since it really  dives into the core philosophy behind the magic of Yin.

I'm especially pleased about the final Day 9 video: Yin Extravaganza. The videos for days 1-8 involved much more talking than we normally expect in a Yinin class—but Day 9 makes up for it. It's a 40-minute video that brings it all together. This is a video you can return to anytime you want a purely functional Yin practice with minimal cues. It's a full body session where every pose is yogi's choice, incorporating what you learn in days 1-8.

There's so much more to Yin than being able to achieve specific poses, and this program is essential for anyone who wants to truly learn. It's now an evergreen program in the membership for those who are ready to practice with more intelligence, intuition, and creativity.

I've received a number of questions over these nine days, and I'm beginning to round them up to make a supplemental Q&A video. Feel free to share any additional thoughts, suggestions or questions below. ✨
