Happy baby pose is intended as a relaxing low back stretch, but some people’s body mechanics and proportions can make it difficult or uncomfortable. I’d recommend swapping something that feels good to gently stretch your low back like knees-to-chest or legs-up-the-wall. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

Thanks for sharing this, Linda Rummel.  It's great to hear you're loving saddle with a bolster!

Sounds like you're doing a great job honoring your body's preferences and modifying as needed. Thanks for sharing, Jaana Kuusela!

Yes, that’s a good, functional pose swap you can use anytime!

These are two great modifications, Glenda! Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like you really know how to fine-tune your practice, Tony! Thanks for sharing.

It’s great that you’re comfortable with the furniture-supported saddle version and dragon on your back. Both of these approaches can be really helpful.

I think you may be talking about Seiza – and I'm glad to hear your blocks are helping! They can truly be a game-changer for that pose.
