Less hesitation - sounds like a great direction to move. I recently heard the phrase, “No is a full sentence.” Because no explanation is necessary when your boundaries are clear.

Yes! I have an image of anointing oneself - even if just with a few moments of quiet breathing.

The need for boundaries sure does become clearer!

What's something you find easier now than you did when you were younger?

For me, it's saying no.

Thanks for sharing this beautiful intention, Tina ❤️

Ah yes, being present with the roots of the practice. A helpful reminder for us all.

Balancing the physical and the mental sounds like an excellent area to focus ❤️

Such a good mindset! And if we see the release of stress and tension as part of our daily maintenance, we can prevent it from getting out of hand and taking us off guard.

When you step onto your mat today, what’s one thing you’re hoping to release – physically or mentally?

For me, it’s the feeling that I need to keep proving myself. I’m practicing letting that go, and choosing instead to honor my wholeness – just as I am.

There's a variation of seal with a cushion/bolster under the ribs that I've shared in some videos. This can help relieve the pressure on the arms. Alternatively, you can try experimenting with the position of your arms and hands. In yin, there's never an exact alignment you're supposed to follow, and instead you're encouraged to follow your instincts about what feels most supportive in your unique anatomy. Let me know if you have any luck finding a more easeful variation!
