I’m here for the Yoga.

So glad this was a helpful way for you to gently return to your body after surgery. May you continue to recover swiftly! ❤️

Definitely let your feet relax forward if that’s what they want to do. This helps your legs relax, which is beneficial in yin. (Mine point up even when my legs are relaxed.)

I received some valuable feedback on today's calendar video – a faster-paced, more dynamic class. It's a bit of an outlier on this site because of how challenging it is, and it was an unpleasant surprise for at least one person.

As you may know, the classes on the yoga calendar are generally quite accessible and easy to follow. However, for variety I try to include at least one dynamic/challenging practice each week. If you ever want to check, scan the video page for the class level, where you'll see "Beginners & All Levels" or "Intermediate/Experienced."

I recorded this particular video five years ago as an "Intermediate" practice during my first year in building this membership site. At the time, the site included a broader mix of styles. Since then, it's become more yin-focused, and I've tried to keep those older, more athletic classes off the daily calendar.

Today's video still made its way into the calendar – possibly because I'd given it a misleading title: "Yin Yang Yoga Flow." To fix that, I've just changed the name to Yang Yoga Flow, I've changed the thumbnail, and I've recategorized it in the Yang Yoga category. Even though there are some yin poses at the end, this class shouldn't have had the word "Yin" in the title.

With over 300 classes in the catalog now, I sometimes lose track! Which is why this kind of feedback from members is really helpful. If you ever think any other class has a misleading title, level, or thumbnail, don't hesitate to let me know.

Thank you Marc Elmlund for giving your helpful and honest feedback. 🙏

I've been getting many versions of this question, and the answer requires me to make a video! Coming soon! The short answer: it's NOT either/or, it's different amounts of both.

Thanks for your kind words, Camille! This series is a more condensed, student-facing version of what you learned in the training – as I'm sure you've noticed! So glad to hear you're sharing this with your students.

More are on the way!
