Depends on how I'm feeling really. I love Folded Wings and Spinal Twist, but other days it is Sleeping Swan or Sphinx. The one pose I absolutely can't relax in is Happy Baby. It kind of works with a folded towel under the hips but it is not comfortable. Any advice how I can improve that would be very much appreciated. It feels like too much strains on forearms and fingers

Feels sooooo good! I definitely need more upper body practices. (Pretty please 🐼)

Tried this yesterday evening. I liked this practice but couldn't really relax probably because it is much too warm at the moment. Will definitely try it again!

Devi Daly This is very kind of you to say, Devi. 😊 Regarding Yoga, I'm a beginner, but I've always been good at shutting the world out for a time.

Nothing special tbh. I usually practice in our living room. I push the armchair out of the way get my Yoga mat and props, put on comfy clothes, set my tablet on the Chronicles of Narnia (biggest book in the shelf) and start. For me it feels that I'm so much with myself during practice that the surroundings are not that important. We had a choir rehearsal weekend some weeks back and stayed in a house owned and run by the catholic church and I could even have a relaxing and restorative Yoga session in this tiny room.

Not as beautiful as your garden, but still a comfy outdoor living room with froggy yoga vibes.

Hi, I live in Germany, where the weather currently feels more like Spain. πŸ˜„ My (current) favorite Yin poses are Folded Wings and Side Twist.

I was looking for something that would help me with my perimenopause restlessness and sleeping issues. After the first Yin yoga session on your YouTube channel I had the muscular tension of a well-cooked spaghetti and slept like a brick . Now, after some months, I feel a lot more flexible and comfortable in my body and I have re-learned to relax if I feel that my muscle tension is too much due to stress, etc. So glad I found you. 😊
