I did this one two days in a row!  I really like the "figure 4 core" moves.  I substituted half frogs instead of reaching behind to grab my legs,  found a really great stretch in the inner thighs.  Such a great way to start the day!  I listen to your Oms... they are like music.  Bowing my head in gratitude to you at the end....

After 3 days of power-washing my tin roof and carefully cleaning the solar panels, this practice worked on every single tight spot I had, and there were many.  A challenging position for me is moving from sphinx to grab a back leg, but today I took it slow and easy.  I'm going to be working on that one.  Didn't peak much, but loved the Yosemite backdrop.  From listening to others I have realized how well I can meditate.  This time provided so much.

Excerpt for sutra #44:

Follow the gentle touch of life,

Soft as the footprint of an ant,

As tiny sensations open to vastness.

Let's call the place between physical and spiritual a realm.  This practice moved in and out of this undefinable sphere.  Possibly the morning, the music, and the gentle directions drew me there, and I basked in the radiance.  Having an ability to move in and out of a meditative state aligned so beautifully.Do I believe in magick?  I experience it.  Thank you Deiv and Carol Kay

Twas actually nice to do this one after a restless night of sleep and and dream interruptions when I had fallen asleep, but it was time to get up.  Noted my ability to find those areas of tension and release them.  Watching the thoughts of a busy mind blow by.  I find myself going through this identify/release process often during the day.  I might give this one a try this evening as well.

I grabbed this one as I had a long night and wanted something quick to start my day.  It's amazing how a practice feels like it was designed for you, and is often the case it feels like Devi is speaking directly to you.  I had an injury some 7 years ago, breaking my clavicle and scapula which let me dimly dishearten.  The road to recovery slow, then yoga, then yin yoga was my path back.  This practice brought me into the very depth of how my body had responded, healed and had a new geometry, but one I know now I can work with.  As we moved to work with the left shoulder, my injury location, she said that if you had had an injury be careful and take it slow.  I worked deep into the muscles, aware of the energy, tightness and release.  I also found myself revisiting that runner that felt he had lost it all with a simple trip and fall.  I'm in a better place due to that fall, in so many ways...

Early morning appointment so I decided upon this shorter practice.  Very relaxing and calming.  Love the mindful directions, letting little worries dissipate for a time.  Great breath release and energy awareness.
