Such a rich practice today, one of those sessions where time just disappears. For all the dragon slayers out there, once you find your position and settle into the target area, the ease and benefits will unfold. Take it slowly, listen to your body. Rest on your elbows if your wrists need support. Most importantly, don’t miss out on this beautiful stretch.

Back to a beloved practice today. The session offered wonderfully relaxing stretches that opened up my sides and back while easing my shoulders. The guided relaxation at the end was truly divine.

Each practice seems to arrive just when I need it. Yesterday’s poses left me with both growth and a tender awareness in my back. This morning I felt fine, and then came today’s session, an invitation to surround the spine with care, attention, and breath. Deep inhales clear away the busy thoughts of the day ahead. Right now, I feel good… and truly, what more could I ask for?

I’ve ordered thirty-five bare root plants, Douglas Fir, Quaking Aspen, Bitter Cherry, and Evergreen Huckleberry, that will arrive in February. As I walk my property, I envision them growing tall and full, shaping the landscape with their presence. These trees and shrubs will stand long after I am gone, a living legacy rooted in this place.🌿

"Straight up, no frills Yin". I knew you were serious, so I took every move same.  I love how extended poses lend themselves to attention, to meditation.  Your voice seems seamless with the wonderful background music.  Loved the new half-puppy pose for me.  I reached so many areas needed.  While in twist I thought about how to focus not on what the body can't do, or what I'd like it to do, but rather what my body does, and rest there.  This seemed to direct my attention to the benefits found within the moment, allowing the mind to still.  I always like that smile at the end of practice, it mirrors the one of my own...

After yesterday's Hatha/Yin practice I noticed that the more rapid moves from one pose to another are ones I need to use extra attention upon.  This stretch and relax action helped me get to this places of soreness I had found.

Loved this wake up session.  I look at my comment from 6 months ago and how similar my thoughts are of to today.  😀

Instant Favorite!! Every moment was filled with goodness. I loved the rainbow-like twists, as my bones, cartilage, and fascia spoke through each movement. In meditation last night, I realized how Yin revealed both body and mind as teachers, reminding me that each practice offers wisdom, if I simply listen.

This practice reminded me of the "beginner's mind" which we should bring to the mat, each pose.  I was surprised that my forehead could touch my feet in cobbler. Additional stretches found good concentration on the targets.  I could get deep into deer pose as well.  I have an app which I used to monitor my weight and realized I hidden used it since May.  Hopped on the scales and I was only 1.5 lbs over my target weight.  I nice surprise.

I’m keeping to my usual rhythm, beginning each morning with Yin, which I love. I stay mindful not to push too far, honoring balance. Since alcohol isn’t part of my life, that’s easy. And rain or shine, walking the dogs keeps my heart strong and steady.
