Hi Stephanie โ€“ If you sit on top of two blocks, it makes a wonderful modified squat. I have a class here on the site called "Yoga Squat Journey" which includes that variation. If you want to see it, search for "squat" on the site and scroll to 32:05. The squat class also has good squat warmups and explores more alternatives to traditional squat alignment that might be helpful. (Hint: Don't fuss about keeping the feet parallel or keeping the heels on the ground, and discover squatting freedom!)
