Perfect practice for the day before I travel.  Lots of time to examine my busy mind and the tension I was unknowingly holding, and going deeper into the relaxation.  I'm not sure how practice will play out on this trip, but it will be easy enough to find time to do my own thing.

Wonderful practice.  Perfect blend of fantastic, mindful stretches, blended with so much momentary meditation.  I was able to go deeply and directly into the areas guided and needed.  Detached from the busyness and focused within the sensations, this is my favorite time of the day.

Loved revisiting this one.  Watching the waves move across the water Finding subtle growth in so many poses. Deepening, relaxing, guided so well Devi.  "Dare the wild unknown." "Invisible power pervading everywhere. Divine presence permeating everything."

I didn't know what to expect, but found reasons for liking this one.  It allowed me to be a little more aggressive in my sore elbow (you can't baby it forever) and found it interesting that a bug bite on the top of my foot was an interesting and constant point of awareness,  So I used it for my focus.  Since starting Yin I have experienced an intense "spiritual" expansion, which blends well with my naturalist perspective, the soul and mind, keeping in time.  Heading back to old hometown in a few weeks for a visit and wondering how I will relate after all these years.  Lots of old ghosts arising of late.

Per your request, I live in the PNW, near Port Townsend WA, on a bluff overlooking Discovery Bay.  This practice was needed and I liked working on my back bend, then child pose.  I have a sore elbow so modifying things as I go along.  I rely on my left arm a lot for getting up, working with the mower and weed whip, lifting heavy objects, etc. so I am trying to discipline myself to start with the right and rely on it more.  Like the long sessions as well as I like am gleaning the benefits of staying in the poses and working within them.

The wind woke me. I was restless so I followed this practice. Moved gradually to awareness. The sensations observed. Such gentle, healing breaths. Peace

Devi Daly It’s the focus in the moment. It is cherished so I reach for it. It is the best gift I give myself to start my day.

I felt a new, tingling sensation on my fascia today, so I worked to feel it in each pose.  I try to start my day and mind with ease, but issues pursued me, eventually giving way to these calming moments I found myself.  Taking time to direct my breath into each area, lessening the tightness.  Letting go, expanding....You are teaching me so much Devi, in so many ways...

June came a day early, so without a May 31st prompt I opted to revisit this favorite (to be honest they are all favorites.). Great stretches that allowed me to go deeper.  Sore from work on my lot with more to come, this was perfect.  I am learning to move into the sore spots, gently and then easing into the sensation.  Feeling ready for this day.
