Thanks for the suggestion, Elizabeth. Silent Yin videos haven't been the best received ones on the site which is why I haven't made a bunch more. But there are several new-ish ones filmed outdoors, with the beach in the background, and those are all voiceover where I tend to talk much less. Just look for the thumbnails at the ocean!

Hi Gail, this is most likely due to the compression of your hip bone against your thigh bone. This is what can create extra stress in the low/mid back in forward bends. A bolster under the hips might help. And if that still doesn't make you love the pose, remember that you have all the postures in the shoelace aka glute-stretching family from YYTT. Give the bolster a try, and report back to me!

Your suggestion makes me realize I'm due to create one that's intended for experience students who don't need all the modifications explained!
