I am slowing down and turning inward, as Nature does. No demands. No performance. No expectations. Just being, enjoying the warmth of the fire, consolidating the lessons of the year, letting go of the rest, mulching and composting, preparing for new growth and the light of Spring. This one challenged me! The warrior poses and lunges saw my knees complain loudly. I realise i need more of this. The yin at the end was like a welcome homecoming. Thank you!

The yin practice before meditation really helped me connect with the body. I actually began to get a real felt sense of the third eye for the first time! Loved it! Thank you Devi ❤️

Thank you, Linda. I do that too. I just get envious of those who can really relax into the pose hugging the knees and rocking side to side. It looks so yummy!

Thank you Gabriela. I am working with the bolster and it is better. I have lost a lot of weight but arms still too short! ;-)

Ah, that's good to know about the purpose, Devi. I tried the bolster and it's better - I can just about get my fingers to link up - but still not comfortable or very relaxing and I can hardly breathe! I just have short arms and chunky legs which often inhibit poses which I often find frustrating. But I love windshield wipers, reclined butterfly and happy baby so will try substituting them when it comes up. Thank you.

I am a tad frustrated with myself today. I so wish I could relax on my back hugging my knees. Why are my arms and legs too short, and fat (there, I've even said the 'f' word!) to clasp my hands around my knees? Yep, I'm body-shaming myself today. Anyone else have days like this?
