A relaxing practice before bed (my usual time for yoga!). Always appreciate the variations of poses (like figure 4 instead of square) - still feels great! FYI - I'm really flexible but square is nothing I'll ever be able to do - I'm just not built like that! Does anyone else every feel that way about a pose or poses?!

Thanks for the question, Tammy Ray, and video, Devi! I'll also check that video out. I had a yoga teacher say that our hips are built differently and some of us just won't be able to do certain poses. I feel the same about this pose. Blocks can really help, but I just do what I can and know that my hips rotate differently. Would you agree, Devi?

Liked this one, and was happy to see so many variations of half saddle. I did the 1st post, lying on my side, and it worked well for me! I don't have much hip flexibility, so I was able to focus on the stretch rather than the pain or what I can't do! ;)

I did this practice in the a.m. before work and it energized me. I usually practice in the evening, and the poses relax me. So interesting to notice the difference between how my body responds at the beginning and end of the day!

My practice goals need to be realistic to me! I hope to practice with you every day. It works best for me in the evening, as it's a great way for me to wind down and get ready for bed.

Really liked this combination of practices! Felt the energy of the Golden Seed sequence!

Even though I've been practicing regularly with you for a few months now (& have practiced many types of yoga over the years) I really wanted to start this "challenge" and learn more basics. Great explanations of poses and yin itself. Thank you! Looking forward to the rest of this!
