After a middle of the night Chakra Meditation With Bija Mantras, I woke with an unusual sense of the the emotion of loneliness.  Observing this emotion I met the mat and found a keen focus on the breath throughout.  Finding my position was secondary to the breath work which followed and embraced each deepening.  Sutra 27 thereafter was my reading for today, such a perfect fit.  I recalled a poem I wrote decades ago.  Too long to paste here, but it ends with...

So loneliness it seems is to be part of our scenery

Riding on the cold wind that blows in from time to time

It stays behind when all else has flown south

Awakened in the morn by a ray of light

It's proclamation part of our purpose

And in that moment find loneliness takes flight

With the empty hope that loneliness with come to nest no more

Your voice is so beautiful. So easy to follow for my own path and exploration. To reach each chakra through my teacher, amazing.

This was so peaceful. I’ve grown to trust where your voice and words take me. My deep breaths follow a pattern you’ve shared. Taking it in, then pausing, then taking more. This has been so helpful. You draw me into a state that elongates that clear nothingness. I love being in the stream of life.

I'll have to remember this one when I next need a quickie.  Love delving deeper into the stretches and the directions for the breath of great benefit. So glad you came into my life Devi.

Wanted some Devi time, so I revisited this practice.  As I breathe deeper into the poses, I’m noticing that the next day I can really feel the work in my joints, muscles, and back. It’s as if I’m sensing the deeper stretch as part of a growth process, relaxing into the poses while still growing stronger.  These are wisdom workouts for me.  You know how to move me gracefully from one pose to the next without impeding the meditation, that clear spot, I know throughout them.  I find this fascinating.

Purely wonderful.  Healing from some blue light treatment and this moved my mind to a calmer place.  I'm improving in so many ways.  What more could one ask (work) for...  Wanted to note: Sutra 24, so perfect as my morning reading.

I let a word come to my mind during each practice.  Today is was "meaningful."  You have brought a greater meaning to my practice and hence my life Devi.  I think it's so important to let those who have impacted your life to know.  So there it is....🌀

So many small advances noticed today.  Really letting Devi guide me.  Her experience transferred to my own.  Learning where my block helps.  Spine electric and vibrating....  Love how the sutras, this day 22 compliment the practice as I end:

"Behind the spine is infinity.

Below the perineum,

Invisible pulsating roots

Open downward into space.

The heart is wide as a spiral galaxy.

Steadily consider

Back, root, heart,

And know the living body of vastness

That you are."

I really loved moving attention to so many different areas, while blending the breath to deepen each pose.  "Your back is a gateway to the sky. The celestial dance, The story of space and time, Is coded in the spine." I deeply admire you Devi and I feel it a blessing to have you in my life. You inspire me every day.

Calming practice and test of resilience as my Internet went down during the middle.  😂  Love the suggestions on using the blocks.
