Yin for the win!

I'm visiting some sorrow today, that and some soreness from transversing down and up a dangerous ravine in search of a lost pup.  I spied her once, but she is still on the run. I took Amanda 's post as a cue to revisit this one.  It helped.  Sutra 70 ends: Wound becomes portal. Brokenness surrenders to Crystalline brilliance of Being.

"Movement meditation". Exactly!!!!

I've worked with a shoulder injury for 9 years now.  Yin is wonderful in that it makes us so mindful of the little moves that need our care and attention.  It turns out there is a lot of great scenery on the road to recovery.

Lovely basic set of moves perfect to get my going this morning.  Back feels great now, ready for the day.

All I kept thinking about was how our practice of Yin allows us time to be in the moment.  Even the challenging moments at times.  I found the instruction to roll onto my hip during the quad stretch extremely helpful.  This relieved what could have been knee strain for me.  Time to clear the mind, that is the gift you keep giving Devi, along with a body the feels good.

For some reason I hear an announcement on the plane telling the passengers "She is now in Sleeping Swan.  The aisle should be clear in the next 3 minutes"

Super yummy!  Love lingering in the poses, love lingering in between.  So many good reasons provided just to feel good.

Loved it all and found progress today in my quad stretches, reaching back from cobra.  This is difficult for me but today I managed both sides and mention of adjustments helped. Sutra 60 complimented this practice so well.  

Rocking, undulating, swaying,

Carried by rhythm,

Cherish the streaming energy
