Finally finding time this morning for this one.

So somehow I did this practice a couple of days ago, but the revisit was peaceful and restful.  Calm within the chaos of events.  I'm learning half saddles my way, and suspect over time will progress.  I know that way of bending is just something this old body never really did most my life.

I have to mention the end of practice, moving with the breath, bringing hands over head, then down in prayer is always the best rush through my spine.  Devi Daly...the best part of my day.

I took Rachel Korda cue and revisited this practice and it soothed both body and mind.  Taking care, the time in the poses allowed me to think better through circumstances and the day ahead. A wonderful compliment to the Spring morning unfolding outside my window.  Then I read Sutra #80.

 That space is bad.

This space is good.

The ride is rough,

Or the going is smooth.

We are thrown into suffering,

We are thrown into joy.

Beloved Soul Mate—

Find the space in the center,

The pulsing spaciousness

Encompassing all opposites.

Here the essences of creation are at play:

Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space,

And the senses that perceive them.

The center is the dancing ground.

I woke wanting something gentle and saw your post.  Heading to the mat now.🙂

It's so wonderful to have time on the mat.  To find a peace in that which we can control.  The longer poses allow me to move carefully and deeper. I read a sutra after each practice, each day, but today I realized I simply forgot.  I think the message was carried in the energy within my body and mind...

Always enjoy (and benefit) from these gentle, lengthy poses, that allow the mind to explore deeper the senses while setting the busier side aside.  I like it when the music is soft and not as intrusive it can sometimes be.  This was perfect.

I did this, this morning and will remember it for future use.  Thanks Devi

Loved this practice.  Working the breath during poses has really energized and opened growth.  Today a friend released a single, "Sit With It" by Micaela Kingslight.  A few verses...you get the idea.  Love the timing of the universe.

I finally got around to this one.  Loved the long, lingering, holds in each pose.  Practiced a breathing pattern throughout to move energy in and out as I depended each pose.  Devi's breath ritual she threw in fit perfectly and was a nice surprise.
