Devi,Β I want to thank you for the new chair yoga routine.Β I don't normally do chair yoga but I had a recent minor surgery and I am going to do chair yoga for a while until my incision heals.Β Great timing on your part!
Hi.
I really struggle with happy baby pose. My back hurts a lot. I cannot reach my feet at all. Even just bending the knees, the action of keeping the back flat on the floor hurts. Any advice?
Hello Devi and hello to everyone,
My husband is suffering with plantar fascia and I am looking for exercises he can do to relieve it, I have looked on line but just thought I would ask the question to see which you would recommend, he says his heels hurt , I do know of some foot exercises as I do them myself but just wanted to get the correct ones for him.
Thank you

Hello everyone,
Can anyone suggest a good video for when feeling run down to give a bit of an energy boost.
Thanks in advance π
Can someone please direct me to a video with poses to deep stretch the shoulders and neck please? I suffer with headaches which I believe are due to tension pressurising the upper cervical region of my neck and head.
Members: What are your favorite yoga tweaks?Β
One of the best things about practicing yoga at home is that we can adjust poses to suitΒ our own bodies. At in-person classes, sometimes we feel pressure to conform β even if things don't feel quite right.
Is there a particular pose you tend to modify every time it comes up?
Here's an example from my own practice: While I enjoy downward dog, it's not a restful position for me. This is likely due to the way my upper body is built. When teachers say to "rest" in dog for more than a few breaths, I typically shorten it and drop into plank pose or child's.
I'd love to hear about the modifications you regularly do in your practice β share in a comment below! πΏππ½
Members, Iβd love to hear more about your self-care routine. β―οΈπͺπ§π½
By definition, yin yoga is an incomplete practice. It should ideally be balanced by active exercise β or yang activity. While this app offers some dynamic practices, itβs primarily designed to focus on the yin side of things β slowing down and tuning in.
Many members do stronger exercise at home, at the gym, or outdoors. What does this look like for you? Do you include strength training or cardio? Do you walk, run or swim?
Overall, how does this app and membership fit into your daily life? As I learn about your routine, it helps me curate the app to best serve this wonderful yoga community. πΏ
Hello all! I'm ready to get back into daily practice when I arrive in Las Cruces, NM - a 1,300 mile drive from Minneapolis! Moving/prep/driving can really disrupt one's schedule - at least mine, so looking forward to being back in "community" in a day or two!Β π
Yaama! I am a First Nations woman from Australia and I have followed Devi by YouTube for years. I decided it was time to give gratitude and pay for the pleasure, and to find out what other pearls are in the app. So looking forward to interacting with the yoga community and I hope to also do some training. Namaste. Kylee
