A naturalist living in the PNW. Loving life, whatever it brings next...

I let a word come to my mind during each practice.  Today is was "meaningful."  You have brought a greater meaning to my practice and hence my life Devi.  I think it's so important to let those who have impacted your life to know.  So there it is....🌀

So many small advances noticed today.  Really letting Devi guide me.  Her experience transferred to my own.  Learning where my block helps.  Spine electric and vibrating....  Love how the sutras, this day 22 compliment the practice as I end:

"Behind the spine is infinity.

Below the perineum,

Invisible pulsating roots

Open downward into space.

The heart is wide as a spiral galaxy.

Steadily consider

Back, root, heart,

And know the living body of vastness

That you are."

I really loved moving attention to so many different areas, while blending the breath to deepen each pose.  "Your back is a gateway to the sky. The celestial dance, The story of space and time, Is coded in the spine." I deeply admire you Devi and I feel it a blessing to have you in my life. You inspire me every day.

Calming practice and test of resilience as my Internet went down during the middle.  😂  Love the suggestions on using the blocks.

Looking for a shorter practice I found this gem.  Meditative throughout, while working deep into my shoulders and all connected.  Found the cat tail pose so amazingly beneficial, letting me revisit areas that. craved attention.  This was a beautiful practice and the reading to the sutras a wonderful surprise.  I will weave is 30 day challenge into my calendar.

Devi Daly With each encounter you touch my soul, this soul the Universe.

Wow, that was truly profound. I felt a deep sense of connection to my feminine side and could sense old patterns releasing. It was as if my body and spirit found a harmonious place to dwell.  So transformative Devi. Gently working my joints was wonderful.  Awareness of more intermediate work for me to grow with as well.

Such deep stretches today.  Actually sat in full saddle, leaning back, not to the ground, but one day...  Thoroughly enjoyed this time one the mat.  Learning to let go is a great lesson, every day.

So the "the nymph named Ambrosia" found as part the moment, "...Invite attention to be within the skin, and, Cherish the quiet shimmer of vital energies. When you notice an inner gateway, Enter with love, as one coming home. As the surge of light-substance rises. Follow it up into the space between the eyebrows, Where it breaks out as an orgasm of light." Let me cherish life as I do my mornings with you Devi.

I've really improved on my half saddle.  Still doing it "my way" but my body is definitely getting deeper into the posture.  Stretching across my back and shoulders is really helping me target areas that had to recreate themselves after my past injury.  I like to remind myself, of when in desperation, I told myself "it will never be the same, what's the point" and that I now find was wrong.  Different a bit, even better perhaps in ways, but definitely learning a lesson in never giving up.
