Took the easier route this morning, revisiting this practice.  Mindfully taking each instruction to heart and breath.  I couldn't move directly into saddle so I settled for a half saddle on each side.  I've thrown a set of socks among my props for those colder mornings.  It really made a difference relaxing.  Great and grateful stretch throughout.

I got to practice me 1/4 saddles and Lazy-boy saddles and both were better than before.  This is going to be one of the slowly but surely poses for me.  I am working on keeping my chest and abdomen straight and centered doing them.  You make it look so easy.  Minor adjustments are helping me take care with areas like my knees in the poses.

This was your birthday present to me.  Thanks!  After a great night's sleep and meeting the mat, I am ready for the day.  You've given me a really wonderful gift.

I really enjoyed this practice this morning and the slow flow helped me get into my saddles much better today.  My full saddle-Lazy-Boy pose is really coming along.  I love how yin gets my mind off the things I don't really need to be dwelling on.  Extra thanks to Konrad for the sound-check! 😉

I needed to fall back into love with the moment. This is where you left me. I hammered out the little melody of this practice on my dulcimer after practice, taking it into my day...

Back on the mat today, though my knee is a little tender. I suspect I might have pushed too hard during side saddle the other day—patience is always key! Moving carefully through the poses, as often happens, I found relaxation to be the best remedy.

At the start of class, I like to sit as you do—so upright and balanced. Though I often find myself leaning to one side, I’m making progress! Today, I really tuned into the sensations of my body, practicing the art of letting go in both mind and body.

While tidying up a few days ago, I rediscovered some great portable knee pads I bought years ago. They've now joined my props collection and are already making a big difference. Little adjustments like this are part of the joy of the journey!

I usually shy away from shorter sessions, but today the timing felt perfect. I really appreciated how the poses were thoughtfully grouped together, creating a cohesive flow while still allowing time to explore and adjust each pose to fit my body. You have such a great voice. And you always leave me with a smile 😊

I intertwine my Yin practice with the threads of my spiritual journey, each enhancing the other in a seamless dance. The energetic flow that carried me from the depths of night into the soft light of morning was nothing short of exquisite. Both experiences opened me entirely, body, mind, and soul. I was seeking a teacher, I found a messenger.

Extend Your Awareness

Reach beyond the confines of your own form,

Merging into the essence of other beings.

Feel their sensations as your own,

Releasing attachment to the self.

Transcend the limits of locality,

Allowing your awareness to flow freely.

With each passing day,

Tensions dissolve,

And you align more deeply

With the unified current of life

That pulses through us all.

I really found myself embracing the "It's not how you look" aspect of practice, with amazing results.  By really focusing on the target areas, I was creating poses that were definitely my own.  I have to admit I had just a tad of jealousy with I in my basement, on a cold, drizzly day, with you on the shore.

This Yin balanced well with my Yang tree planting of yesterday, although I wish now I would have done it last night so I would have slept better.  Gently way of targeting those places needed.
