Another favorite Favorite!  This practice really aided the Yang tightness of yesterday's yard work.  I particularly benefited from the instruction to focus on the target of the spine in the twists.  I found myself in a still mind much of the time.  Maybe that due to the music....

Back from vacation and found this practice perfect for shoulders which had been worked carrying luggage.  Delved into the tightness of the target areas and let my breath deepen the magic.

Another great one to fit into my vacation. Lots of stiffness from exploring the Chicago Botanical Gardens.

Laying on crossed arms is amazingly satisfying. Such a needed target for the shoulders.

I can't help but what I posted in the past, two years ago this time.  A favorite hatha practice for me, just my speed and one where I can thereby take care with my knees.  My balance was really good and I credit that to the strength I have developed through Yin (and yard work).

Perfect practice for this morning.  Long, relaxing poses, and loved the breath work.  The sutra was a perfect match.

Well I look at what I wrote about this practice two years ago and would only change the fact that I have noticed great advances (for me) over time.  Still many miles to go, but enjoying the journey.  Like the urging to breathe and go deeper throughout.  Much more mindful of gradual moves that help me come out of poses without tension on my knees and wrists.  Sutra 26... "I belong here.  I am at home."

So many places on my property.  I went down to a bench I have on the edge of the bluff.  It's cloudy currently, but the the Olympic Mountain Range is beyond Discovery Bay and the Juan de Fuca Strait.

Enjoyed this practice in so many places.  Liked the in between shoelace, figure 4 position.  It adjusted tension of the target area in a slightly different way.  Supported dragon is something I will have to practice more as balancing on blocks was a bit unsteady.  Most always finish my practice with a sutra so its nice to have you read one and thank you for introducing me to them.
