Whew! Glad I didn't ask you. 😉. Seriously "when I was younger" spans several decades now. I hesitate less, and take more immediate actions in life. I think I am more understanding and accepting of others as well as myself. I've learned to say no as well, and without the need of explanation.

A night where dreamwork, lend itself to shadow work, shadows from the past opening up to be processed. Mentally a bit weary, I found myself on the mat for this practice, which was like no other. This was my platform for peace. Feeling some issues melt away resolved, others asking for care. These were major aspects of my past that had been brought forward. The long poses so perfect. I realized how often I take a breath through the mouth rather than nose, so I refocused. The option for reclined butterfly (with prop) an excellent alternative today. Sutra #65 followed and I am still taken back a bit on how they so often fit my day.
Close your eyes and imagine
An expanse of terrible darkness surrounds you—
No objects, no light, no moon, no stars—
Nothing but blackness spreading to infinity.
Do not shrink in terror; do not turn away.
Give yourself to the blackness
With no hope of light.
Surrender completely.
Contemplating this feeling,
Merge with the mystery of night.
