Today I brought the tensions of the previous day, that of stacking a cord of wood, so there were lots of areas that both needed and loved the attention.  I must have intuitively selected this practice the night before.  I did feel a soreness in one knee while working with the half saddles, then recalled it was due to a fall when I had lost my step on the pile, so I was more mindful of what was needed.  So much goodness for the shoulders and neck at the practice start.  The emotions I had brought to the mat, found no place there.  I think you know that when I bring my palms down in from of me at the end we share the same smile.  🙏

Repeated this one from earlier this month.  Great 35 minutes when my morning is a bit rushed.  Always learning to deepen my poses.  Full saddle options much appreciated.

Found deeper stretches in the poses with added comfort using the bolster.  The side twists really hit a new and needed area in my hips.  Figure four and windshield wipers felt better as there was less strain staying in position while stretching.

So many moments woven into this practice.  Meditative and of such great release...  I hadn't noticed the length of this practice, then found I loved every second.  Thank you Devi...

I start the video on my iPhone, then Screen Mirror to my Apple TV box which is connected to the TV.  After practice I work with options on my iPhone like Save (to playlists) and turn off Watched.  I return to my Mac and use the website to add comments as I hate typing on my tiny iPhone keyboard.

Saddle on the left side ok, saddle on the right better.  Liked the slower pace and getting deep into the stretches.  Laying on crossed arms is a good challenge for me.  I find it really makes me aware of the geometry change in my frame from that old injury.  But You've taught me how to take it slow and adjust.  Not just on the mat, but in life...

I did this one two days in a row!  I really like the "figure 4 core" moves.  I substituted half frogs instead of reaching behind to grab my legs,  found a really great stretch in the inner thighs.  Such a great way to start the day!  I listen to your Oms... they are like music.  Bowing my head in gratitude to you at the end....

After 3 days of power-washing my tin roof and carefully cleaning the solar panels, this practice worked on every single tight spot I had, and there were many.  A challenging position for me is moving from sphinx to grab a back leg, but today I took it slow and easy.  I'm going to be working on that one.  Didn't peak much, but loved the Yosemite backdrop.  From listening to others I have realized how well I can meditate.  This time provided so much.

Excerpt for sutra #44:

Follow the gentle touch of life,

Soft as the footprint of an ant,

As tiny sensations open to vastness.
