Simply sublime! This is my very first yin practice with Devi Daly Yoga, back in the fall of 2023. It continues to be one of my favourites. Thank you as always Devi 🙏💙

Yoga Nidra is yoga without asana or movement. It focuses on breathing, meditation and concentration. It relaxes the body and by focusing attention, it relaxes the mind. Sometimes referred to as yogic sleep or sleep with awareness. The techniques used are guided imagery and body scanning. Many Yoga Nidra practices use the NSDR (Non Sleep Deep Rest) protocol. YouTube has many guided practices ranging from 10 minutes to 90 minutes or more.

My body prefers mornings, as I am generally more stiff or stuck early in the day. I prefer to do my meditation in the evenings and sneak in some yin poses as well. I have just started to explore Yoga Nidra in the evenings too !
