Which one I choose depends on the day and what my hips and low back seem to be calling for, but twisted roots is my favorite followed by cat pulling its tail.

Yes...I am most certainly interested.

I love this practice. Excellent review of poses and options....I'm feeling it as a " refresher" of the beginning. I chose my best version of square, which is a challenging pose for my tight hips. I sit on a block which helps immensely by providing me the extra space. Thank you for a great practice, Devi

Well...I have two that I come back to....Sleeping Swan....love the deep glute hip stretch, especially when held for 5 minutes minimum. The other us dragon fly. My low back and hamstrings benefit from this posture and my torso head and neck just continue to sink and lose tension as I remain in the pose...starting with a prop and as I soften deeper...removing.

When I first joined a Yin Yoga practice, my impression at the end was " not to sure about this long hold in a posture concept", but after the session was over, I definitely noticed how good I felt inside my body and relaxed in my mind. So I decided to keep attending. Each time, my attitude about Yin became more positive and I found myself wanting more. I was already a 200 hour RYT, subbing hatha classes..waiting for an opening to have my own class. In time, I grew even more interested in Yin to the point where I felt there was a need to share this genre of Yoga in my community. Long story short and two different trainings later coupled with continued practice as a student and on my own, I've been a Yin Yoga instructor for over 2 years now. So, I went from being a bit unsure of Yin to total embrace.
