A yoga teacher I follow online has said that the purpose of downward dog is not to rest, " how many times do you see a dog holding that pose over an extended period of time?" She has asked, I found this funny and remembered it. Indu Aurora. 

Anyways, I could never do saddle pose until I discovered it with a bolster. This changed everything for me. I love the bolster!
